Assignment description For this assignment students were asked to take pictures up close of something using the macro settings on the camera. Up close shots should be clear ands still somewhat recognizable to the viewer what the object is. I went out on a day off of school this week to take pictures of ice covered branches on the trees. For me, taking pictures up close using macro settings was quite easy. I had found that using a longer lens to reach farther distances helped these images to fill the frame. I also used the manual focus to help clear up the shot, however, I had to take a lot of photos to get at least 5 that came out great.
