When I first walked into this class, I only knew so much about photography. Before this class, when I got my camera, I was only able to use Automatic mode, and let the camera do all the work for the shots that I produced. After being in this class for a whole trimester, not only was I able to photoshop images, but I also learned how to compose images and produce better pieces of work. One of the things I struggled with in the beginning had to do with the exposure triangle. One of the first couple weeks of class, students were assigned to take demo and composition pictures around the school. When I was taking photographs the exposure on some of the images were really bad, some of the light was too bright, some were too dark. I a also tended to take pictures as well that were too dark. By the end of this class I have dramatically increased my photography skills. One of the biggest things I have learned was how to take better portrait pictures. I went from not knowing how to blur the background to getting quality images with just the right exposure. I'm fairly satisfied with how this class course turned out for me.
